SHIPPING POLICY

***World-wide shipping delays, a message from Canada Post:

"In the last few months, we have seen a significant increase in parcel volumes [due to COVID-19] as Canadians are staying home and shopping more online. We are working hard to respond in a responsible manner...We continue to process and have been delivering in record numbers for this time of year, but the reality is that customers should anticipate delays."***

Jack59 ships globally and we value your time. We often ship orders the same day we receive them, if we are receiving a high volume of orders we will ship within 3 business days after an order has been placed (time may increase during holidays or promotions). We ship orders with Canada Post ground delivery.

All orders receive automatic package tracking to the email provided at checkout. We are not responsible for duties/taxes/levies imposed by any other agency or government for international orders.

We can not be held responsible for missing packages where address information has been entered incorrectly during the ordering process, or for packages damaged in transport.

If an address can not be verified by Canada Post and is returned to Jack59, the customer will be responsible for any additional costs to reship the package.

Shipping timelines will be determined by the shipping option chosen at checkout but in general:

  • Within Alberta: 1-3 days
  • Canada: up to 7 days on average
  • USA: Approximately 8-10 days
  • International: Approximately 4-6 weeks

FLAT RATE SHIPPING

Flat rate shipping is available in Canada at an expedited rate.

FREE SHIPPING

Free shipping is available at an EXPEDITED RATE ONLY, regardless of which shipping option you choose.

For Canadian shoppers, shipping is free with every purchase of $75 or more. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer that to our US shoppers at this point in time. As a small business, shipping costs easily eat into our overall profits. We are a women-owned and operated company, and we work to ensure each of our team members are fairly paid a living wage. We understand the convenience of free shipping on all orders; however, it is simply not sustainable for us to offer as a small business. As we continue to expand and grow, we hope this is something we can offer our lovely customers in the future. In the meantime, we greatly appreciate your support and understanding.

      PACKING MATERIALS

      We would love to offer absolutely no packaging as we do at our markets but obviously that is not possible when we ship orders as we want to do our best to protect your products from damage during shipping. Our envelope mailers are fully recyclable. For larger orders we will use a cardboard box durable enough to be reused many times before being recycled.

      • We wrap our bars in compostable material. 
      • We do not pack our mailers with any additional packing materials. 
      • We only use kraft paper to protect your products if necessary for larger orders that require a cardboard box, otherwise we will use COMPOSTABLE starch peanuts.
      • We only use paper tape to seal packages
